$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Role Summary:

A global financial services firm is seeking a Trade Surveillance Analyst to join its Compliance team. This individual will be responsible for conducting daily monitoring and review of trading activity across various asset classes to identify potential market abuse, manipulative behavior, or policy violations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor trade surveillance alerts across various products.
• Investigate and escalate suspicious trading activity, including wash trades, spoofing, layering, and front-running
• Analyze surveillance data to detect potential market abuse and initiate appropriate follow-up actions
• Contribute to the development and improvement of policies and procedures related to trade surveillance and market conduct

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in trade surveillance, compliance, or trading support within financial services
• Solid understanding of market abuse regulations and common forms of market manipulation
• Experience using trade surveillance tools.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with keen attention to detail.
