Tower Site Regulatory Specialist - Primary Talent Partners : Job Details

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a remote Regulatory Specialist with our telecommunications client in Albany, NY. This is a 6-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay: $30.48 - $34.48/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Description:

• Prepare and file FCC/F pplications and supporting documentation concerning tower erection, modifications and antenna installations.
• Review permits and documents to track compliance with regulations and company policy.
• Review and approve/disapprove Regulatory Notice to Proceed (RNTP) for all tower sites.

Essential Job Functions:

• Review the proposed scope of work (i.e., modification, collocation, new easement), apply knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations as well as company policy to determine whether any further assessment or regulatory filings are needed and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Order or complete applicable assessments, regulatory filings, or other regulatory documentation as appropriate, including preparing and producing electronic regulatory filings for the FCC and FAA.
• Develop and maintain relationships with FCC and FAA personnel, and other local, state and federal offices as required to assure prompt processing of Crown applications.
• Operate client's electronic tracking methods to review and approve tower construction, modification and antenna installation process via RNTP's and flow of documentation from and to agencies.
• Research, analyze and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers for site regulatory information.
• Assemble and maintain accurate and thorough regulatory approvals and documentation to facilitate company regulatory compliance.
• Develop proficiency in interpreting, communicating and implementing FAA, FCC and NEPA guidelines: review documents for compliance with guidelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory personnel representing those carriers and clients with whom Crown has business dealings.
• Research regulatory compliance inquiries as required, including review and analysis of acquisition due diligence and in response to alleged violations.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in regulatory compliance
