As our Tourism & Partnerships Director, you will be responsible for the Belmont Park Village opening strategy of destination marketing and B2B partnerships. You will define the destination marketing strategy for various source markets, build relations with important partners in the community and identify and engage B2B business partnerships with the aims to introduce and raise the awareness of the business proposition in the relevant sources markets, acquire new guests, attract qualify footfall and drive the single spend value and sales revenue targets.

What you will be doing

Destination / Tourism Marketing

  • Define the 360-destination marketing strategy and opening and Y1 road map for Belmont Park Village, including US Domestic, EU, Latam, MENA, Asia, Southeast Asia, and Greater China developing a plan and manage an annual calendar for each.
  • Identity market trends and be responsible for the business projections; attend FAM trips, and trade shows in source markets if/when required.
  • Develop new partnerships with the expat communities, international schools, International cultural Associations, Embassies, and consulates.
  • Be the ambassador of the business and develop relationships with important partners including: Local, regional, and national governmental entities, embassies, and associations. Hotels, agencies, local attractions, and businesses. Transportation / Travel providers airports, public transport, and stations, etc. Influential organizations and tourism attractions tour companies, sports teams, popular attractions.
  • Define where international guests stay in our catchment area and define a plan to capitalize them through deep relationships with local hotels and long-stay locations.
  • Manage and expand relationships with Tour Operators and Travel Agencies to support Leisure & MICE tourism.
  • The distribution of all Tourism Marketing materials and seed campaign videos with partners
  • Tailored packages for sale through third parties and via the online booking portal
  • Lead the content strategy to boost the storytelling of the Village in the source markets.
  • Define and manage International Markets & Partnerships budget.
  • Attend tourism Marketing events, trade shows, seminars as required.
  • Support the Village Digital Team to maximize online and social media opportunities for tourism.
  • Share best practices with the Central International Markets and Partnerships teams.

B2B Partnerships

  • Define the B2B partnerships strategy for the opening and Y1 of Belmont Park Village,
  • Collaborate with Central team on the execution of Central-led partnerships at the local level.
  • Integrate the annual B2B partnership plan into the overall Village calendar across all departments as needed.
  • Develop local partnerships with corporate bodies including credit card companies, banks, high net worth businesses and closed user groups to increase the usage of all transport solutions and purchase of packages and gift cards.
  • Build partnership segments financial, airline, travel, local corporations, etc.
  • Identity, engage and sign new and relevant partnerships in key segments, aligned with the Village s guest acquisition strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Build a MICE strategy to promote the Village as a recognizable venue for Incentives and as a viable add on for Meetings, exhibitions, and meetings.

Engagement & Implementation

  • Align with Belmont Park Marketing team to prepare relevant and compelling propositions for key partnerships.
  • Ensure promotion and campaigns are executed and manage properly across all partner marketing channels.
  • Support all relevant programs and initiatives (private client services, events, promotional offers) are integrated and appropriately promoted on appropriate Belmont Park / Bicester Collection platforms.
  • Take ownership of the Tourism CRM program and management of CRM platform as it relates.

Reporting

  • Compile reports on partners activities, new promotions, market and city trends, etc. on a regular basis to help inform and dictate all marketing and source market strategies.

  • Degree education or equivalent qualifications is preferable.
  • Broad and International experience in travel industry, on-line travel agencies & travel platforms, in-bound & out-bound, Premium Hospitality, Luxury Brand Segment, Leisure & MICE and/or Partnerships segments, especially Financial Services and Airlines.
  • Proven successful track record of achieving business results with short, medium and long term plans.
  • Computer literate and high proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Digital led expertise with main focus on guest acquisition and guest engagement.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Chinese market is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local market, including regional and national tourism board or resorts.
  • Well-rounded leaders who is results driven, with analytical thinking and strong business development mindset.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and a creative mindset.
  • Extensive experience in leading, motivating and managing a team. Able to work individually and as part of cross functional team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior level internally and externally.
  • Strong relationship building and management skills.
  • Use to work in a fast-paced environment and matrix organization.
  • Willing to travel abroad.
  • Fluent in English and local Village language, any other language would be beneficial.
