Tool Hire Customer Apprentice - Travis Perkins plc : Job Details

Joining our family as the Tool Hire Customer Apprentice, youll help customers find the tools they need and arrange a hiring contract. It could be anything from earth-movers to drills, but safety will always be your priority. With your support and fantastic service, youll have customers singing our praises.

Hours of work: Our branches are open Monday - Friday from 7.30am - 5.00pm. You will work 42.5 hours per week on a shift pattern during these opening hours and will be required to work every other Saturday morning.

Right from the start of your career with us, youll be supported in your development. Youll join our Certificate in Tool Hire Programme, a 12 month Apprenticeship that will give you the tools to be successful in your role. Over the length of your apprenticeship programme, youll explore:

• Our safety culture within branch
• How to service and maintain our tools
• The products we hire and the services we provide

Our Apprenticeships are focused on your development and factor study time into your working week, so you can achieve your qualification without affecting your work-life balance. We provide you with a fantastic support network through; 1:1 coaching, mentoring and technical and skills training to enable you to progress your career with us.
