Our Opportunity North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Tool & Die Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will construct and repair machine shop tools, gages, fixtures, jigs, and Injection Molds for use within the plant.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesYour Priorities Performs a variety of tasks on molds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures, including: Lathe work - turning, drilling, threading Tool Sharpening Mill work Surface grinding Welding Drilling Tapping/Threading Performs other duties as assigned. RequirementsYour Background High School Diploma or its equivalent, plus 2 - 4 years of related experience in a tool room environment-including experience maintaining Injection Molds (polishing, bench/hand work, welding, surface grinding, etc.). Ability to tool weld and stress weld and knowledge of heat treatment is preferred.
