Tool & Die Journeyperson - Greenheck Group : Job Details

The Tool and Die Journeyperson position is responsible for performing work in one of several departments within the facility. Responsible for the accurate production of parts from engineering prints, including application of tolerances, as well as maintain and repair tools, dies, and other parts. Operations include but are not limited to milling, turning, grinding, heat treating, programming of CNC equipment, assembly, and try-out. Available Shifts: Either 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift. Will train up to 3 months on 1st Shift before moving to 2nd or 3rd Shift. Principle Duties & Responsibilities: Experience in the operation of CNC and manual Lathes, Milling machines, Grinders, and general tool room equipment. Must be able to utilize precision measuring tools. Fits and assembles jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies. Sets up, runs off, and tests tools and dies to produce a product to specification.
