Job Summary The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the university's compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in federally funded education programs and activities. This position plays a central role in promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. The Title IX Coordinator will lead efforts in developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and practices related to Title IX compliance, including prevention efforts, training programs, and the investigation and resolution of complaints of sexual misconduct, harassment, and discrimination. This position includes training and support for a qualified candidate. Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the university's response to reports and complaints of sexual misconduct, gender-based discrimination, and related Title IX issues.
- Monitor the university's compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures related to Title IX.
- Lead and coordinate investigations of Title IX complaints, ensuring fair and equitable resolution processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Title IX-related inquiries from students, faculty, staff, and third parties.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Prior experience in higher education, compliance, human resources, or related field preferred but not required.
- Training will be provided for candidates with strong foundational skills in communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building.
