Tire Technician - Iowa Staffing : Job Details

We are seeking a skilled automotive tire technician to join our dedicated team. This role involves engaging directly with customers to diagnose and resolve tire-related issues, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with customers to understand and address their tire concerns.
• Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall tire health.
• Recommend appropriate repair treatments or tire replacements based on assessments.
• Repair punctures and replace faulty valves to ensure optimal tire performance.
• Install new tires, balance them, and perform wheel alignment procedures.
• Prepare tires for snow use by studding them as needed.
• Retread tires for tractors and other off-road vehicles.

Skills:

• Proficiency with general labor and hand tools.
• Experience with auto maintenance, including brakes and oil changes.
• Ability to use power tools and air tools effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing automotive skills.
• Capable of heavy lifting and detail-oriented service.
