Tier 1 Support Tech - Irving Materials : Job Details

Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Respond to queries, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues encountered by end-users.
• First line of contact for IT issues that come via the ticket system or phone system.
• Manage the configuration and installation of computer systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network issues.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Google Workspace, OKTA and Office 365
• Resolve technical problems with networks and other systems.
• Setup and deploy IT equipment including laptops, desktops, tablets/mobile devices, printers, etc.
• Follow up with end-users to ensure issues have been resolved.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum (2) years of experience in the field of IT, preferably with end user support.
• Associates degree in Information Technology, IT related curriculum or equivalent work experience, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework is a plus.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Excellent communication ability, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to move or lift IT related objects (Computers, Printers, Monitors, etc.) that weigh up to 50lbs.
• Spanish speaking or bilingual a plus
