Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit

The mission of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is the preparation of diverse students as exemplary, culturally responsive professionals and leaders in the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology. Position Summary

  • Assist with the administration of language assessments to Latino preschool children (training provided) at preschools in the Greensboro and High Point areas.
  • Assist with data entry
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with children
  • Experience with data collection and entry
  • Ability to closely follow lab procedures /protocols
  • Native-like fluency in both English and Spanish (for Bilingual research assistants)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation to and from preschools
  • CITI certification (UNCG Basic Course/Student Researcher Modules/Human Research) or willing to complete certification prior to starting the position
Preferred Qualifications

Background in communication science disorders, early childhood education, education, or psychology preferred
