And we work diligently to encourage all with different ways of thinking, different ways of working, and especially those traditionally underrepresented in technology and financial services, to apply.ResponsibilitiesThe Trade Finance Product Advisor III will work independently and be responsible for identifying the needs of our global trade finance clients and crafting solutions to meet their objectives with an emphasis on international financing solutions by utilizing the bank s trade finance product suite, this includes import & export payments, collections, standby letters of credit and import & export letters of credit. The Trade Finance Product Advisor II will also be responsible for origination and execution of trade transactions with the goal of portfolio growth and new revenue generation for the trade finance sales team. Daily activities will include proactive sales origination, structuring and negotiating deals and managing the process along with business and implementation partners.Responsibilities: Increase penetration of the Bank s Trade products amongst existing and new to bank clients to achieve assigned revenue budget Very active client calling to drive identification of Trade opportunities Client management of existing clients, including but not limited to updating offerings, follow up on existing facilities and assessing the client s current trade objectives Negotiate transactions with clients, external legal advisors and landlords and manage the end to end process Pipeline Management Maintaining a robust deal pipeline from origination through till execution and revenue realization Keeping abreast of market trends Supporting strategic initiatives such as client events/workshops, as well as key product and sector origination initiativesThe base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally from $113,439.00 to $170,159.00 per year. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. First Citizens offers a competitive benefits program which you can review here: Qualifications:Bachelor s degree or (HS Diploma or GED with 4 years of banking experience) 5+ years experience in trade finance salesPreferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Stand-by Letters of Credit, Import & Export Letters of Credit, UCP 600, ISP98, Import & Export Financing and Documentary Collections Credit experience is a plusTeam-oriented and ability to work cross-functional with all business partnersEffective communicator and deal makerExcellent analytical skills with outstanding attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneouslyMust be proactive, self-starter with the ability to spot, understand and solve issues, develop and recommend alternatives or solutionsAbility to work under pressure Strong MS Office skills Job type: FULL TIMECategories: Innovation Banking
