Test Technician - Key Skilled Personnel : Job Details

Job Title: Test Technician Location: City of Industry, CA Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm Salary Range: $22.50 - $24.00 Job Summary: This position is responsible for performing routine go/no-go tests of circuits, analytical instruments, and mechanical assemblies to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of failure. Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods. Sets up calibration gases or fluids as required. Documents test results. May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement. May maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions. Essential Job Duties:

• Performs routine go/no-go test of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
• Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
• Sets up devices using hand tools or automatic test methods.
• Documents test results.
• Maintain logs and records indicating if there is a malfunction.
• May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent and some degree of vocational training in electronics or analytical instrumentation preferred and/or equivalent of education and 0-2 years of experience in a directly related field.
• Basic Knowledge of ISO
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen
• Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP...)
