*This role is an hourly position and eligible for overtime. What the Ideal Candidate will do:
- Performs testing of products and equipment.
- Supports other departments with testing, development of specifications, product improvement, and related documentation.
- Coordinates and schedules Test Floor activities in accordance customer needs. communicates with other departments.
- Performs customer demonstrations and acceptance tests as needed.
- Interfaces with suppliers on technical issues and performs testing at supplier sites.
- Supports commissioning of shipped products through remote and on-site assistance.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience in a technical position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Must have experience with technical tools (i.e. power tools, hand tools) and other instruments used to troubleshoot equipment.
- Must possess strong written and oral communication, math, and computer skills.
- Travel up to 20% of the time, sometimes internationally.
