Location: El Segundo, CA Salary Range: 50-65/hr Competitive and commensurate with experience Introduction We are seeking a dedicated Infrastructure and Automated Tools Engineer to join our Space Systems Verification and Test team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the hardening, deployment, automation, setup, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in both factory and launch environments. Required Skills & Qualifications * Applicants must be able to work directly on W2 * Work with Product Security, Software and IT engineers to execute the Infrastructure and Tools team scope of work * Interface effectively with multiple technical disciplines in a team environment * Works with the Infrastructure Manager to help transform the existing Test IT Infrastructure and Tools. * Setup of infrastructure tools and environments such as Servers, Virtual Machine, Storage, Network/Firewall. Preferred Skills & Qualifications * Holds a Security Certification * 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Experience in Mix Unix/Linux and Windows, Client, NAS/SAN Storage environment * 5 or more years leading technical teams * An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance and current Tier 5 (T5) Day-to-Day Responsibilities * Collaborate with Product Security, Software, and IT engineers to execute the Infrastructure and Tools team scope of work * Interface effectively with multiple technical disciplines in a team environment * Assist in transforming the existing Test IT Infrastructure and Tools * Design networks and complex IT Infrastructure, including redundancy and disaster recovery systems * Contribute to initiatives to upgrade existing infrastructure and lead the adoption of the latest technologies, including virtualization and automation * Implement best practices to manage a network server room * Lead the team to develop engineering documentation and processes to reduce waste and maximize repeatability * Setup of infrastructure tools and environments such as Servers, Virtual Machines, Storage, Network/Firewall * Champion Lab Excellence initiatives to continuously improve the server room environment * Work in a hands-on lab environment with a variety of different types of test equipment Company Benefits & Culture * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans * Inclusive and diverse work environment that encourages growth and development * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement For immediate consideration please click APPLY or contact me directly at .
