What You'll Do

• Lead Test Engineering: Manage and mentor a team of test engineers, ensuring projects meet design, cost, and delivery goals while developing robust test methods and systems.
• Design Test Solutions: Oversee the creation of test setups, from simple fixtures to fully automated ITA racks with software integration, tailored to customer specifications.
• Innovate and Optimize: Drive the development of hardware/software design processes and best practices to deliver high-quality, efficient test solutions.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to support product development, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful customer deliveries.
• Support Quality and Compliance: Contribute to quality systems (e.g., IDRs, MRBs, RMAs), failure analysis, and customer/government audits.
• Manage Operations: Oversee team workload, employee performance, training, and facility requirements for new equipment setups.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited university.
• Experience:
• 5+ years as a test engineer developing test solutions.
• Proven experience as an engineering supervisor or manager with a track record of success.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with analog equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators) and digital equipment (e.g., data capture, relay control cards).
• Hands-on experience with ATE systems, ITAs, and back-panel interfaces (Virginia Panel experience a plus).
• Ability to write and debug C# code and develop test GUIs.
• Familiarity with serial interfaces (USB, RS-485/422) and CAN ().
• Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and lead a small team, with strong collaboration across engineering and production functions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with customers, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
