Test Engineer with Security Clearance - TEKsystems c/o Allegis Group : Job Details

TEKsystems Global Services is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Iron Crow Lab at Naval Air Station Point Mugu, in partnership with NAVAIR's Support Equipment Systems EDT. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with a background in avionics and electronic warfare systems, particularly those with prior military experience. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the sustainment and troubleshooting of EW and RF test systems, including hardware-in-the-loop test benches.Assist with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for test sets such as the USM-670A and USM-713, including hardware upgrades and installations.Configure and maintain test benches for integration testing of systems like RWRs, jammers, and communication/navigation equipment.Build and maintain custom wiring harnesses and interface boxes based on engineering drawings.Collaborate with engineers and military personnel to diagnose and resolve system faults.Participate in field upgrade efforts, including potential travel to military installations (e.g., Miramar, Pendleton, Whidbey Island, WA).Redline technical diagrams and support documentation updates.Operate in a lab environment that includes a full-scale aircraft mockup and non-climate-controlled hangar space. Clearance RequirementActive Secret Clearance (fully adjudicated) is required. Work EnvironmentLab-based role within a hangar on the flight line.Standard schedule: arrival between 6–8 AM, 9-hour workday with 1-hour lunch.Collaborative team of engineers, scientists, and technicians.
