Join our team as a Test Engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will support the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division contract as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the evaluation, testing, and characterization of next-generation PNT systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct tests to evaluate system performance in benign and GPS threat environments.Operate GPS simulators to assess system performance under Electronic Warfare threats.Utilize test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and frequency counters.Support local testing activities, including setup, troubleshooting, data collection, and analysis.Participate in field test events, managing equipment and data analysis.Debug and improve data analysis tools.Develop and operate MATLAB programs for quick look analysis during testing.Analyze data from GPS receivers, Inertial Measurement Units, and other sensors.Evaluate data on position accuracy, confidence levels, and signal integrity.Write technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.Assist in defining and documenting system requirements.Essential Skills
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in MATLAB is required.
- Active Secret clearance is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience is required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range is $105,000 - $127,500 per year.
