Job Location : Raymond,OH, USA
Responsibilities:
• Automotive development and testing of Powertrain Control Units.
• Writing hardware and software specifications.
• Performing confirmation testing on the actual vehicle and simulator.
• Troubleshooting and fixing related problems.
• Software functional data analysis and report generation.
• Working with component suppliers and other departments to resolve technical issues.
• Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
• Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals.
• Other responsibilities also include researching new technologies and market trends and making proposals for future products.
Requirements:
• 5 year's experience with Powertrain ECU validation (Transmission, Shifter or FI-ECU preferred experience).
• Strong knowledge of electrical hardware and software development.
• Interest in the automotive field and experience in the use of electronic measuring equipment and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint / Vector tools: CANalyzer, CAN ape / ETAS: INCA)
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
• Valid Ohio driver's license.
Education:
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar.
