Role Summary:We're looking for a Territory Sales Manager to lead regional sales efforts and drive product adoption among healthcare professionals. In this role, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with key providers, educating them on our therapy, and executing a territory-level business plan to achieve sales goals. Success in this position requires a blend of clinical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate local market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet or exceed sales targets
- Build strong, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, especially in GI, Hepatology, and Endocrinology
- Deliver effective, personalized product presentations and education sessions
- Understand and communicate local market access and reimbursement requirements
- Coordinate with internal partners to support patient access and pull-through
- Analyze market trends and sales data to identify growth opportunities
- Represent the brand at peer education programs, conferences, and live events
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely reporting on territory performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a positive and compliant customer experience
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales
- Specialty sales and product launch experience preferred
- Existing relationships with relevant specialists a plus
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data and trends
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, both in-person and virtually
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or on a team
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory (overnight travel required)
- Must reside within territory boundaries
