**Job Summary**

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing the sales of Navico products through the implementation of Navico sales programs, national and regional marketing strategies and coordination of Navico customer service efforts in the field. Responsible for implementing the company channel strategy in its territory, managing the business with assigned customers including development and implementation of key account sales plans, sales projections, product forecasts, budget management, customer and consumer service and day-to-day sales operations. In addition, the Territory Sales Manager provides promotional sales support for Navico, promotional efforts including shows and dealer and distributor meetings.

**About the role**

* Deliver assigned sales budget within its assigned territory and customer portfolio.

* Identify, recruit, and manage the companys business relationship including the development and implementation of key customer account management sales plans to create incremental sales opportunities and grow the base business of Navico marine products, while identifying new sales growth opportunities.

* Provide direct and indirect sales support as required to accounts.

* Aggressively take ownership of, prepare and manage a key account plan and budget. Ensure that the budget is not exceeded and savings are made whenever possible.

* Effectively plan and oversee the companys participation in key trade shows with assigned customers.

* Develop and maintain high operational proficiency and strong technical awareness of the use and application of products to demonstrate and enhance training of dealers.

* Build strong understanding of competitors products, their features and performance characteristics, to rightly position Navicos portfolio against competition to win sales.

* Respond to customers requests with quotations for single products or integrated systems.

* Be the go-to person for market intelligence and insight on own territory.

* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other departments, especially Credit, Customer Service and Order Management.

**About You**

* Bachelors Degree in engineering, marketing or business administration a plus.

* 5+ years of relevant experience in sales roles in the marine industry, experience with a technology product line preferred; additional experience in customer service and/or marketing a plus.

* Strong technical competencies to understand technical products (hardware and software) and their interfacing; experience with marine navigation, as a leisure pastime is considered a very strong advantage.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM).

* Strong organizational and analytical skills are a must.

* Dynamism, ambition, drive, and desire to succeed in a high-pace performance driven organization.
