What to Expect

Tesla is looking for an experienced Field Service Territory Manager. This role will lead and expand the service operations for Tesla energy products and the EV infrastructure network across the Northeast United States. The manager will ensure the execution and development of the organization, capabilities, processes, systems, and reporting to provide excellent customer service for Tesla products. As this is a growing division, the individual will collaborate with sales, deployment, and engineering teams to improve and refine Tesla operations continually.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage a top-tier Field Service team, ensuring customer needs are met and operations are efficient. Maintain sites and oversee expansion within the region to achieve industry-leading uptime targets cost-effectively.
  • Responsible for creating, delivering, and improving service programs in the field, both directly and through service partners.
  • Coordinate weekly with the scheduling team to ensure smooth daily operations, manage maintenance, and monitor progress towards goals.
  • Ensure team members have the necessary parts, tools, and equipment. Organize onboarding for new technicians and collaborate with Customer Support to resolve escalated issues, including onsite support when needed.
  • Develop best practices for field service, focusing on customer experience. Establish quality standards and installation guidelines.
  • Build and develop third-party service partnerships, communicate expectations, and improve processes. Work with support teams to optimize spare parts supply chain management and contribute to training programs.
  • Implement new processes and tools to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Manage regional expenses and propose cost-effective solutions. Perform other duties as required.
What You'll Bring
  • Qualified Electrician or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics) or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, including 3 years managing field teams.
  • Proven leadership skills and effective communication across organizational levels.
  • Experience in establishing and scaling service/operations organizations.
  • Knowledge of power systems maintenance, testing, diagnosis, HVAC, inverters, and electronic systems; photovoltaic modules experience is a plus.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment is advantageous.

Expected salary ranges from $136,000 to $204,000 annually, plus additional cash and stock awards. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, and other factors. Further details will be provided upon offer.
