Description

Drive Business Results

  • Develop, along with the Director of Sales, and deploy a territory Channel Development Plan to grow PTL's market share and improve the quality and effectiveness of channel partnerships.
  • Identify and pursue new strategic direct customers and expand business within existing accounts.
  • Canvas dealers within the territory for prospective PTL dealers and analyze competitors' channel capabilities.
  • Communicate critical milestones, process updates, incentives, and notifications to dealers in real-time.
  • Report on competitor activities, including pricing and product development, with supporting documentation.
  • Execute dealer scorecard activities, set goals, monitor progress, and implement retail growth plans.
  • Assist dealers in expanding PTL's retail customer base and diversifying market reach.
  • Report sales results versus goals and develop plans to meet or exceed targets.
  • Connect PTL dealers with internal resources for prompt service.
  • Product Line Responsibilities

    PTL Equipment includes Extendo, Traverse, Carry-Lift, Speed Swing, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, and All-Terrain Derrick.

    Product Knowledge

    Develop comprehensive knowledge of PTL products, capabilities, and applications. Train stakeholders, dealer personnel, and customers to position PTL as the premium brand. Collaborate with OE Parts Sales to promote genuine PTL parts and programs.

    Experience and Education
    • Minimum 3+ years in distribution channel development, territory management, and account management.
    • B.A. or B.S. Degree required.
    Skills and Other Requirements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM/ERP software.
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
    • Knowledge of relevant industries and technical skills in mechanics and hydraulics.
    Position Details

    This is a full-time remote position with work hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role requires frequent travel (up to 75%) and involves working in field environments, including remote job sites with uneven terrain and equipment exposure.
