NeoGenomics is seeking a Territory Business Manager based in IL, who is eager to learn and contribute to our company's growth. This role is open to remote candidates in Illinois.

Position Summary:

The Territory Business Manager (TBM) reports to the Regional Director and is the primary contact for all accounts within their territory. Responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders such as pathology, oncology, academic centers, reference labs, and private physician groups, selling our full portfolio, and expanding our market share. The TBM manages the entire sales process, collaborates with specialist teams like OSS and CSS, and supports Tier A accounts with the Key Account Manager (KAM). They operate within their budget and develop strategic account plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales goals by managing customer needs within the territory.
  • Own Tier A, B, C accounts and support Tier A accounts with KAMs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with OSS, CSS, and KAMs to maximize account value.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with marketing and product teams for growth strategies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitors.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication.
  • Promote products through consultative sales and in-service training.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com, including activity tracking and account updates.
  • Participate in industry events and manage related logistics.
  • Adhere to company policies, including HIPAA compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in clinical or laboratory markets preferred.
  • Strong closing, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical/laboratory products and environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75%.
