Manages and controls the freight operations of a local terminal. Assigns responsibilities and directs personnel to keep terminals operating efficiently. Major Tasks and Responsibilities. Manages and coordinates terminal employee's activities to provide effective and efficient operations. Investigates and resolves all complaints and discrepancies. Interviews, selects, and coaches potential and new employees. Enforces compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and government regulations. Analyzes and reviews financial and operational reports to determine trends and increase profitability. Monitors and improves operational processes to enhance efficiency. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align and review reporting needs. Preferred Qualifications. Bachelors degree in business or a related field . years of terminal operations experience.
