General Summary: You will serve as the key point of contact for our customers. Your responsibilities will include setting up merchandise displays, maintaining effective inventory levels, and ensuring customer satisfaction, all while upholding company standards.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

  • Unload delivery trucks efficiently.
  • Receive and unpack cartons and totes following company protocols; organize merchandise in stock and on the sales floor.
  • Create engaging merchandise displays.
  • Restock shelves, ensuring products are rotated and presented well.
  • Assist customers in locating products.
  • Manage waste by disposing of trash and recycling materials; keep the store clean, including aisles, restrooms, and stockrooms.
  • Greet every customer warmly.
  • Operate the cash register, accurately processing transactions and providing excellent service during purchases.
  • Handle cash and payment accurately, ensuring change is given correctly.
  • Support the ordering process using hand-held scanners as needed.
  • Assist in setting up sidewalk displays when required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
  • Basic understanding of safety policies.
  • Ability to follow instructions and merchandising guidelines.
  • Familiarity with cash handling and basic mathematical skills.
  • Competence in using cash register systems.

Work Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
