Job Summary: As a Temporary Store Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for customers and play a crucial role in maintaining merchandise displays and stock levels. Your contributions will directly enhance customer satisfaction and drive store profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks and handle merchandise efficiently.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; organize merchandise in the stock room or directly on the sales floor.
• Build and maintain attractive merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise on shelves, ensuring proper rotation and presentation.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide friendly service.
• Perform cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, and restroom maintenance.
• Greet customers warmly and engage with them to enhance their shopping experience.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
• Comply with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist with merchandise ordering using hand-held scanners when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to read and implement plan-o-grams effectively.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and mathematical skills.
• Experience with cash register operations is a plus.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
