Temporary Research Technician - Cornell University : Job Details

The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a Research Technician to join Dr. Gunther Hollopeters lab at the Department of Molecular Medicine. You will support their work by providing complex technical lab support and performing a broad range of laboratory and research related tasks. Required Qualifications. Associates degree in biochemistry or molecular biology with 1-2 years of laboratory experience. Experience using structural prediction software to model protein complexes Experience in preparing media, buffers, and reagents. Strong attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong laboratory skills including maintaining accurate laboratory records of experiments and preparation of data summaries. Ability to work collaboratively with students Position will involve.
