Temporary Research Technician - Cornell University : Job Details

The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a Research Technician to join Dr. Taika von Konigslows lab at the department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences. You will support their work by providing complex technical lab support and performing a broad range of laboratory and research related tasks. Qualifications. Associates degree or higher. Animal handling and clinical skills experience that could include, but are not limited to: catheter placement, blood sample collection, nasal and respiratory secretion collection, and ultrasound image collection. Experience with sample and data post-processing. Interest in livestock technologies. Strong problem solving skills. Strong laboratory skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students. A valid driver's license will be required to drive a research vehicle to and from farms.
