Job Overview

We are creating a pool of interested candidates to serve as temporary strike replacement workers. If a strike occurs, selected candidates will be offered and hired into this temporary role, which will be active only during the strike period.

We are looking for reliable, customer-focused individuals to help maintain store operations and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist with locating products.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
• Bag groceries and assist with carry-outs as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and escalate issues to supervisors.

Stocking & Merchandising

• Restock shelves and maintain product displays.
• Ensure items are properly labeled and priced.
• Rotate stock and remove expired or damaged items.

Cleanliness & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of aisles, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sanitize carts, baskets, and checkout stations.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols.

Departmental Support (as assigned)

• Assist in Produce, Deli, Bakery, Meat, or Dairy departments.
• Perform basic food prep, packaging, and stocking duties.

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
