Mission
The Child Development program focuses on the study of individual development from conception through adolescence within diverse contexts. Students are provided with fundamental knowledge of theoretical and methodological concepts, developmental processes, and current issues in the field. We believe that child development professionals play an important role in society with a significant impact on children and families. To ensure that our students graduate as well-prepared professionals, our program rests on three fundamental elements: knowledge, skills, and integrity.

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of teaching experience and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with learners of diverse ages, and socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
