Answer attendance calls and tabulate and post daily attendance data. D 12%
Post attendance for each period per day, prepare unexcused absence lists for teachers, and distribute lists daily. D 12%
Maintain a list of students absent per semester and update daily. D 12%
Process prearranged absence forms. D 12%
Inform parents and guardians of unexcused absences and tardies. D 12%
Provide clerical support for school office, including answering phones, maintaining copier, copier control meter log, and related supplies; monitoring and distributing faxes; maintaining postage meter machine; typing and tracking work orders; register students who add/drop; etc. D 12%
Handle minor student injuries/illnesses when necessary. D 5%
Maintain truancy records, process truancy call-ins, and follow-up with students. W 5%
Prepare monthly and yearly attendance reports, including first, third, sixth and ninth day counts. M 5%
Process attendance record information for various agencies, including Truancy, Juvenile Probation, etc. M 5%
Assist with setting up for and working registration. A 5%
Perform other duties as assigned. Ongoing 3%TOTAL = 100% EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of secretarial experience
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:
- Criminal background check required for hire
