Finance | New York, NY

Reports to: FP&A, AVP – Cartier

Role Overview

Cartier is looking for a Manager on a temporary assignment supporting the Finance department. This individual will ideally support for a duration of around 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Cartier's monthly close process by collaborating with business partners, managing deadlines and ensuring accurate financial results.
  • Track spending by project vs budget and liaise with brand teams for transparency. Identify and communicate potential issues. Provide timely variance analysis to business partners highlighting potential risks and opportunities. Work with business partners to frame the financial impact and communicate up through the financial organization.
  • Support FP&A AVP with retail projects analysis (rent, depreciation, …). Prepare investment requests.
  • Complete ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support broader finance team as needed.
  • Key point of contact for invoice coding, non-stock purchase order use, etc.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other relevant field
  • 4 years of accounting / financial experience, preferably in a corporate environment

Technical / Personal Skills

  • Experience with SAP
  • Understanding of finance principles
  • Strong PC skills, including extensive knowledge of MS Excel, Analysis and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Curious nature with ability to be proactive, problem-solve and adapt to change

Expected Salary Range: $120,000 – 128,000

Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
