The Telesitter Monitor Technician is responsible for continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients through a non-recording video monitoring system. Reports to: Director of Patient Placement.

This role will interact closely with nursing unit, medical staff, patients, and other hospital departments.
Physical Capabilities:
Work is demanding and requires ability to monitor up to 12 patients on one screen at a time. Talking and hearing is essential for communicating with patients and nursing staff. Must be able to verbally communicate using a microphone and headset.
Environmental/Working Conditions:
This position is subject to varying indoor temperature changes. Work is performed in a low-risk area for exposure to blood borne pathogens and other biowaste hazards.
