Our client, Automotive Industry leading client is seeking a Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Validation Engineer, you will be part of a team of telematics engineers. The ideal candidate will have Automotive Industry experience which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Validation Engineer
Location: Columbus, IN (Onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Duration: 6 month contract + extension of up to 2 years
Open to C2C candidates!
What's Needed?
3+ years of experience with automotive domain
Knowledge of various automotive protocols such as UDS, CAN, J1939, or XCP
Knowledge of vehicle parts such as solenoids, sensors, and Engine Control Module (ECM) and how the parts interact
Knowledge of J1939 protocol and how to use the protocol to diagnose electronic issues
Knowledge of end-to-end automotive calibration and diagnostic control and data flows of ECM
Experience using CAN Analyzer, PCAN Explorer, and CAPL Scripting
Experience with SQL server and REST API tools such as PostMan
AWS and Python experience is a plus
