Job Title: Telecom/Network Installer
Location: California (Northern and Southern), East Coast
Job Description:
Looking for a few dedicated team members who are intermediate/expert installers.
Responsibilities:
Install systems such as Nortel, Genband, Ribbon, AT&T, and Verizon.Lacing cables.Wire-wrapping - knowledge of color codes for telco wires and ability to wire-wrap.Forming cables in bundles and stitching.DC power cabling - knowledge of crimping, heat shrinking, and terminating lugs on live BDFB.Mounting frames - drilling, anchoring, leveling, and positioning.Work with a range of Data Network and Communications equipment, such as routers, switches, voice gateways, and VOIP equipment.Manage Structured Cable Distribution Systems, patch panels, and support structures.Minimum Requirements:
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.100% travel required - must be able to travel outside of the local market and any state across the U.S., possibly for weeks at a time.Must be able to work any shift.Ability to distinguish colors in the use of color-coded cable.Ability to lift 50 lbs and capable of working aloft.Ability to successfully complete required safety training.High School Degree or GED equivalent.Ability to pass drug screens and background checks.Installation experience in telecommunications or IT field.Able to follow instructions.Professionally represent and protect the interests of Tanicom in all interactions with customers, vendors, and employees.#J-18808-Ljbffr
