Telecommunications Field Technician - Lumen Technologies : Job Details

The Customer Service Technician will be performing the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed internet networks including associated wiring and equipment. Additionally, maintaining and repairing outside plant facilities. Location and Schedule. This is a full-time position located in Lincoln City, OR. or Tillamook, OR. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm. The Main Responsibilities. Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-speed internet, networks including associated wiring and equipment. Climbing poles, using a shovel and pick to dig up and bury cable; and may be required to work in manholes or controlled environmental vaults. Locate buried telephone cables. Observing all safety rules and regulations. Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested.
