Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Telecom team in Massachusetts!

Responsibilities
  • Independently prepare and/or review traditional mount and tower analyses and modification designs.
  • Prepare and/or review complex telecommunication structure analyses and modification designs with limited guidance.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering designers, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Prepare or review scopes of work, budgets, and schedule assignments.
  • Proficient in building analysis and evaluations.
  • Perform field investigations and site visits as needed.
  • Provide technical support for specific delegated tasks.
  • Perform Engineer of Record duties for structural telecommunication projects in multiple states.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
    • 5+ years of related engineering experience is required; telecommunications structural engineering experience is highly preferred.
    • PE license required; SE licensure is a plus.
    • Proficient with RISA 3D, tnxTower, and other structural analysis software as applicable.
    • Ability to learn and apply technical skills and knowledge.
    • Extensive, diversified, and complex knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles, and practices.
    • Advanced investigative, analytical, and research skills.
    • Strong technical and non-technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related communications and interactions.

    Requires a pre-employment drug screen.

    MVR will be checked and monitored.
