Our NYC Technology team is growing again! We have incredible momentum. Over the last 13 years, we have built a fantastic client base with a focus on elite Quantitative Trading and Investment Management firms, as well as fast-growing startups that are disrupting the AI, FinTech, and HealthTech space. Our NYC Tech team has 10 people on it, with a nice blend of tenured high producers and people earlier in their career with their best years ahead of them. They work on high-profile roles, such as ML Engineering and Quant Research, Software Engineering Leadership and IT Leadership, along with IC-level Software and Data Engineering roles, Technical Program and Product Management, and more.
Our manager, Jon Goldberg, has been with Coda for 11 years. He is the top producer at Coda - billing over 1.6M in 2023 and just closed the books on 1.9M for 2024 (in permanent placement production)! He, as well as the senior producers on the team, would be mentors and partners for you.
Here's the deal, we treat our people like grown-ups. With no limitations in geography and a ton of autonomy, the sky is the limit here. Our commission structure is one of the best in the business (starts at 50% and jumps to 55% after reaching 250k in annual production)! Responsibilities:
- Interact with high caliber candidates and clients, including Fortune 500 companies and startups.
- Execute outbound sales efforts to bring in new clients.
- Screen resumes and conduct candidate screens (in-person, virtual and phone).
- Learn to identify qualifying backgrounds to jobs by researching internal ATS, social media, and great tools provided by Coda Search.
- Keep up to date on ongoing trends and hiring needs; attending conferences, events, etc.
- Implement ideas and strategies to contribute to the future growth of the team and company.
- Degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years in full desk, permanent placement recruiting.
- Minimum 2 years in business development.
- Able to work in our NYC office on a hybrid basis, just outside GCT.
