Job Description (pending Board approval)Title: TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION COORDINATOR (formerly Application Coordinator prior to 2022) Reports to: Technology Director Job Objective: Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of technology integration initiatives to enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement across all grade levels. Provides expert guidance, professional development, and support to teachers and administrators. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
  • Valid state teaching license or technology-related certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a technology leadership, coaching, or integration role.
  • Proficiency with various educational software, learning management systems, and instructional technology tools.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective professional development for adult learners.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional design, and pedagogical best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Meets all mandated health requirements.
  • A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
  • Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
  • Available to work irregular hours and/or a non-traditional schedule.

  • Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and assessment of district-wide technology integration initiatives.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate professional development for staff on technology integration, digital citizenship, and online safety.
  • Work directly with students in the classroom to model technology use and support student-led projects.
  • Provide expert coaching and support to teachers on integrating technology to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
  • Develop and manage the district's Technology Integration website and other communication platforms to share resources and best practices.
  • Assist in the selection, evaluation, and piloting of new educational software and technology tools that align with curricular needs.
  • Analyze and report on data related to the effectiveness of technology integration initiatives to inform future planning.
  • Ensure all technology integration initiatives align with and actively support the Technology Department's overarching mission and goals.
  • Mentor and support the Technology Coaches, providing guidance to ensure consistent and high-quality support for educators.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and collaboration among educators.
  • Provide support by assisting with ticket resolution, particularly for issues related to educational software and classroom technology integration.
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting of technology issues to support district staff and ensure minimal disruption to learning.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of the district and department.
  • Performs other specific job-related duties as directed.

Working Conditions: To promote safety, employees are expected to exercise caution and comply with safety regulations and district policies/procedures when involved in the following situations/conditions.
  • Exposure to adverse weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes.
  • Exposure to air-borne particulates, chemical irritants, combustible materials, electrical hazards, equipment vibrations, noises, and odors.
  • Exposure to blood-borne pathogens and communicable diseases.
  • Interactions with aggressive, disruptive, and/or unruly individuals.
  • Operating and/or riding in a vehicle.
  • Lifting, carrying, and moving work-related supplies/equipment.

  • Using a computer keyboard and monitor for prolonged periods.
  • Working at various heights, in confined spaces, and/or in variable/diminished lighting.
  • Working in proximity to moving mechanical parts.
