Technology Delivery Director - Communication Surveillance role at TD. Location: New York, NY. Hours: 40 per week.

The Technology Director for Communication Surveillance is a leadership role that provides strategic direction and oversees the delivery of technology solutions within the TD Securities Compliance, Surveillance and Supervision group specific to Communication Surveillance. The Director will manage technology innovation, infrastructure, and application development to enhance efficiency, data analytics, and digital transformation, and will work as a key member of the Compliance, Surveillance and Supervision leadership team to manage risk and foster technical and compliance excellence.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Communication Surveillance program to address regulatory requirements globally.
• Establish strong relationships with business units and compliance controls to translate requirements into technology solutions.
• Develop and execute technology strategies to support business goals.
• Collaborate with product vendors (Behavox, Smarsh, Theta Lake) to deliver innovative solutions.
• Provide overall technology leadership and guidance for the delivery team.
• Manage a team of developers, architects, engineers, and QA resources with mentoring and technical guidance.
• Ensure adherence to technical standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and make adoption recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement, monitor timelines, budgets, and resources; address deviations proactively.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes and market trends related to compliance technology.
• Drive data strategy, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.
• Champion agile methodologies and promote innovation and collaboration within the team.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on progress and challenges.

• Proven experience in communication surveillance architecture and development leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of design architecture for integration with COTS products in on-prem and/or cloud models.
• Full stack development proficiency and experience with integration projects across multiple systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to align technology strategies with business objectives and manage vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of data strategy, governance, and integration; familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Proven track record delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
• Strong security principles and risk management awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
• 10+ years related experience.
• Communication Surveillance domain expertise.
• Demonstrated management, organizational and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage large and complex projects simultaneously.
