Role: Technology Architect - Cloud Computing, PAAS, PCF, MicroservicesDuration: Full TimeLocation: Bellevue, WAQualificationsBasic:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred:

• At least 3 years of hands-on Software Development experience in Java/J2EE platform
• At least 1 year of hands-on architecture, design & development experience in Microservices, SOA & any Native Cloud Architecture

Responsibilities:

• Architecture: Provide best fit cloud architectural solutions for one or more projects; provide cloud application transformation technology consultation; assist in defining scope and size of work.
• Solutioning: Create technology differentiation; leverage partner technologies; participate in competency development with the objective of best fit and high-quality technical solutions and creating thought leadership within the area of cloud specialization.
• Strategy & Roadmap definition: Perform as-is analysis and provide to-be recommendations, evaluate product technology solutions and provide solutions to specialized problems in order to provide inputs on technical and domain roadmap.
• Marketing and branding: Perform competitive analysis of products and technologies in order to provide input on the service offering and input on suitable customers for pursuits. Evangelize Infy tech brand in specific areas (white paper, speaking in forums, etc); build artifacts in new areas of competency in order to build collateral and go-to-market solutions.
• Proposals: Provide technical consultation to presales, participate in proposal activities and client discussions as SME; participate in POC, and validate complex architectural solutions; bring in alliance product offerings/IPs in order to provide technical leadership and create technical differentiation.
• Alliance: Interact with vendors/alliances and understand the complementary offerings in order to leverage partner technologies.
• Diagnostic/discovery/as-is assessment for technical consulting engagements: Conduct workshops to understand as-is systems and arrive at possible solution alternatives to zero-in final solution definition.
• Client management: Lead technical discussions with customer SME and stakeholders in order to provide technical differentiation to the relationship.
• Knowledge management: Create knowledge/certification artifacts, guide or provide technical training in relevant technology areas in order to develop talent in technology/domain.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Experience in working with XML, HTML5, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience in open source technologies like Spring, Hibernate, etc.
• Good to have experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Knowledge of at least one Relational Database and ORM technologies.
• Experience in designing and developing web/Data Warehouse applications.
• Good working knowledge of OO concepts, Design Patterns, UML.
• Experience in working in Agile Development Methodologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and build tools such as Ant, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux, Unix, or Windows operating systems.
• Experience with application performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Other Skills:

• Experience in working with geo-diversified teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer interfacing skills, and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
