Role: Collaborate with Credit Union of America's business units to gather information needed to research potential projects and vendors. Obtain due diligence sign-off on preferred vendor selections. Act as the Application subject matter expert for Credit Union of America's Core Banking System environment. Co-manage the relationship with Core banking vendor. Understand and document the core banking system, including orchestration of software as it relates to Core records. Work with Project Management, Development, and Applications teams to securely enhance and integrate business functions.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

*Lead, retain, attract, and develop a team capable of elevating the Applications functions within the organization. Collaborate with senior management to develop processes, procedures, and personnel that support the Credit Union's goals, fostering a collaborative work environment towards achieving these goals. Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration to ensure technology initiatives meet business requirements.

*Oversee the Credit Union's Application technology systems and core banking systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address system issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and provide timely resolutions. Manage and support integrations between the Core Banking System and other interconnected Applications, particularly automated scheduling software and digital banking.

*Work closely with the IT team and vendors to resolve technical issues, acting as the point of contact for pending issues. Coordinate with vendors for software upgrades, patches, and system maintenance. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in collaboration with vendors.

*Improve documentation of existing environment and new system functions to create comprehensive process documentation. Provide technical support to users and assist with system training to ensure effective utilization Applications across the organization.

*Collaborate closely with Project Management, Development, and Applications teams to ensure that the Technology environment meets business goals. Participate in integration projects and ensure seamless communication and coordination between teams.

*Remain current and continually updated with the latest technologies and advancements in Applications capabilities. Partner within Information Technology to ensure that our Application and Core environment are configured efficiently.

*Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing activities to ensure the core banking system's availability and business continuity.

*Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Employees shall be trained annually, demonstrate an understanding of and follow the requirements of the BSA/AML Compliance Program as it specifically relates to their job.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience. At least five years of experience in banking systems administration.

Education: (1) A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or (2) achievement of formal certifications/training recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Other Skills:

*Minimum 5 years of experience in banking systems administration. *Strong knowledge of core banking systems and related technologies. *Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. *Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing is preferred. *Knowledge of Jack Henry, Symitar, and OpCon software is a plus.
