Technician, Test - Columbus McKinnon Corporation : Job Details

Under the direction of the Senior Test Engineer or Test Engineer, the Test Engineering Technician supports the test engineering function in the creation of procedures, and the design, specification and build of test fixtures, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up systems testing equipment according to departmental procedures. Perform system and subassembly level testing of assigned products. Generate and recommend test procedures for system level products and electronic subassemblies. Troubleshoot and resolve product and production equipment problems to ensure the best possible product is manufactured according to procedures. Inspect products for adherence to company assembly and wiring policies and neatness, and customer specifications. Complete all inspection forms accurately. Calibrate, maintain and control production tools and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
