Technician - Non-Certified Central Processing - TidalHealth - Peninsula Regional Health System : Job Details

The Non-Certified Central Processing Technician will work on the job to accumulate the hours to become eligible to gain IAHCSMM certification. This position works under the direction of a Certified Tech and/or a Lead Tech with the goal of working independently, and acquiring the technical skills and knowledge of all Central Processing functions. Their work areas and work stations include, but are not limited to, O. R customer service phone, walk-ups, Loaner check-ins, decontamination, prep pack, sterilization, and distribution of supplies and equipment used for patient care throughout TidalHealth. Due to the nature of this position, the individual must strictly adhere to Infection Control and Universal Precaution policies, procedures, and guidelines.
