Purpose (Why the role exists): Farmhouse Maintenance technician will support the Maintenance team to ensure the highest level of maintenance standards at the hotels and hospitality centers indicated below. This role will oversee the day-to-day maintenance of each location, as well as oversee projects and third-party contractors engaged to complete engineering/maintenance work on site. This role will ensure our guests enjoy an excellent experience at every property, and our owners will have their assets protected. Properties: Hotels: 27 North, Farmhouse Inn Hospitality Centers: Ferrari Carano, Chalk Hill Winery, Banshee Winery, Roth Winery, Lancaster Estate, and Sonoma, Coast Vinyards Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician at Farmhouse Inn is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and safe functioning of all property systems including electrical, plumbing, irrigation, landscaping, carpentry, and pool operations. This role ensures the property remains in exceptional working condition and reflects the aesthetic and operational standards of a luxury resort. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly skilled across multiple trades, and committed to a guest-first mentality. Scope of WorkElectrical
  • Replace fuses and perform load testing to ensure system safety and efficiency.
  • Install and repair ceiling fans, light switches, and power outlets.
  • Wire and troubleshoot low-voltage landscape lighting systems.
Irrigation
  • Replace and clean irrigation solenoids.
  • Replace emitters with specific GPH rates tailored to plant needs.
  • Troubleshoot and replace pop-up sprinklers.
  • Operate and program the Hunter Irrigation control platform.
Pool & Spa Systems
  • Certified in pool chemical handling and application.
  • Clean and maintain pool and spa filters.
  • Troubleshoot, clean, and maintain pool and spa pump systems.
Carpentry & Painting
  • Repair woodwork elements such as trim, molding, and damaged frames prior to painting.
  • Execute full painting prep and finishing process: filling, sanding, and final coats.
  • Complete drywall repair and installation, including mudding, taping, sanding, texturing, and matching finish.
Plumbing
  • Perform full-service toilet replacements including tank, bowl, handle, flapper, fill valve, siphon, flange, and wax ring.
  • Clear clogs and clean drains using snaking or flush-out methods.
  • Replace pipes using various materials (copper, Schedule 40, Schedule 80 PVC, etc.).
  • Replace and troubleshoot Elkay water station filters.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain all property plumbing systems.
Landscaping
  • Possess a strong foundation in horticulture, plant knowledge, soil science, and seasonal planning.
  • Skilled in pruning, pest/disease management (IPM), and water-efficient landscaping.
  • Apply landscape design principles to enhance property aesthetics and functionality.
  • Knowledgeable in planting techniques, space planning, hardscaping, lighting, and irrigation.
  • Adapt and execute seasonal landscaping plans with awareness of climate and water conservation best practices.

Skills & Qualifications (What you need to bring):
  • Previous Housekeeping experience.
  • Valid driver's license to travel to/from homes.
