Technician IV - Equipment - Microchip Technology : Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join our wafer fabrication team in Lawrence, MA. The Equipment Technician will be responsible for:Performing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Maintaining current records on equipment manufacturers technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studying equipment performance and reliability. Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.
