This position is mission critical to our existing and future service implementations.

Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs that support the onboarding and upskilling of our technical workforce. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others grow. This role is crucial to ensuring team members are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to perform safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate hands-on, classroom, and field-based training sessions on equipment, systems, procedures, and safety protocols.

Develop and deliver technical training sessions for new hires and current employees, both in-person and virtually.

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and create relevant content.

Maintain and update training materials, manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules.

Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and feedback sessions.

Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and adjust content or delivery methods as needed.

Support certification and compliance initiatives related to technical skills and safety.

Maintain accurate training records and track completion in the companys learning management system (LMS)

Stay current on industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure training remains relevant and up to date.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in a technical field, education, or a related area preferred.

35 years of experience in technical training or hands-on technical work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience as a technical trainer or similar role with a background in HVAC, hydronics, flushing, etc.

Ability to translate complex technical information into understandable and engaging training content.

Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.

OSHA or other industry-specific certifications are a plus.

Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
