OVERVIEW: DICK'S Sporting Goods is enhancing our top-tier distribution network with the launch of our brand new, state-of-the-art Fort Worth Distribution Center, set to open in early 2026. This facility will be an essential part of our expanding supply chain, ensuring that our athletes receive their products with speed and accuracy.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- DC Operational Support: Manage and maintain RF scanning devices, Monarch label printers, desktop PCs, laptops, and PDT equipment, while conducting routine audits and inventory assessments.
- Provide technical support for issues related to printing, scanning, and general systems and hardware inquiries.
- Collaborate across departments to troubleshoot and maintain applications such as WM, PTL, Camera, RLM, and MHE systems.
- Maintain IDF cabinets with regular checks on switches and UPS; certification on scissor lifts or man lifts is required.
- Repair, replace, and perform detailed testing and troubleshooting of network issues as necessary.
- Teammate Administrative Support: Onboard new teammates in the WM system and request IT Service Desk to add users to AS400.
- Resolve WMS issues and escalate incidents to the IT Service Desk when required.
- Assist teammates with password resets for RF and desktop applications.
- Act as the point of contact for the Service Desk during non-peak hours, troubleshooting issues as necessary.
- Warehouse Management System Knowledge: Gain proficiency in DC systems such as Manhattan WM, LM, RLM, PTL, and MHE Servers.
- Learn to manage the patching of Microsoft Servers in the DC.
- Provide coverage for the System Administrator's responsibilities during their absence or while they work on external projects.
- Warehouse Management System Support: Troubleshoot issues with Warehouse systems, escalating to the IT WM support team when necessary.
- Assist teammates with system or IT challenges at the beginning of each shift, working in tandem with the Systems Administrator for resolution.
- Collaborate with support teams, including Maintenance, during any potential building outages.
- Coordinate with vendors for required building support.
- Participate in building projects, IT capital projects, and system implementations during weekends or after-hours outage windows.
- Teammate Engagement: Take part in Individual Development Plans to identify opportunities for professional growth.
