Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a fully remote team based in Raleigh, NC , that provides outsourced IT support and managed services to small and mid-sized businesses across North Carolina. Responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer include:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various environments (Windows, MacOS, networking, cloud).
- Provide remote and occasional onsite support to clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure clear, timely communication with clients and vendors.
- Continuously improve technical and customer service skills through certifications and ongoing learning.
Qualifications of the Technical Support Engineer include:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or a closely related role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/MacOS, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure, VPNs, firewalls, and printer troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with tools like ConnectWise Manage/Automate/ScreenConnect is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent at problem-solving and communication.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary; $58,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
- Fully remote (work from anywhere in the U.S.)
