This role requires strong knowledge of PCA responsibilities, SAP, financial data analysis, and project controls. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy and data quality across multiple tools while collaborating with the project management team.Key Responsibilities:Review and update Project Authorization packages (JE, BC, Charter, Stage Gate Checklist, PEP, FCT).Initiate schedule rebaselines and ensure quality review and approvals per DOA.Update and maintain records in SAP, FRISBE, ICC Log, and Smartsheet.Perform monthly quality checks on accrual data and validate accurate accounting.Post GRIPs to SAP and review aged GRIPs to ensure proper reversals.Maintain project records in FRISBE and manage user access.Create SAP Planning/Controlling orders, update settlement rules and dates.Import actuals from SAP into FRISBE and forecasting tools.Generate recurring and ad hoc reports (spend, PO commitment, variance, accruals).Administer monthly data quality assurance per internal guidelines.Manage Capital Labor Allocation process and provide project accounting guidance.Identify and correct cost accounting errors and coordinate journal entries.Required Experience:Local candidates only — must reside within service territory.Deep understanding of financial schedules, accruals, PO creation, and validation.Strong knowledge of Project Controls Analyst (PCA) roles and responsibilities.Hands-on experience with SAP, Smartsheet, and Excel-based reporting.Nice-to-Have Experience:Familiarity with GRIP posting and aged GRIP handling.Experience with Capital Labor Allocation procedures.Working knowledge of FRISBE and energy utility financial tools.Required Skills:Financial data validation and trackingSAP project planning and updatesProject reporting and forecastingPreferred Skills:Data quality assurance and analysisReal estate or infrastructure project financeCost accounting and journal entry coordinationAdditional Skills:Accrual certification reportingForecasting tools integrationMonitoring project authorization cyclesAdministrative ownership of project databasesStrong Excel/reporting skillsetBenefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout the Client:A leading natural gas and electric energy company serving millions across the United States.
